Sharad Patel is an Investor and Clinical Director at Pplus Medical, bringing over 30 years of clinical expertise, innovation leadership, and medical device commercialisation experience to guide the company’s strategic direction.

A distinguished dental professional, Sharad holds a BChD, an MClinDent in Prosthodontics, and an MFGDP qualification. He is a Fellow of The International Congress of Implantologists and has been a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons since 1997. His clinical career has been marked by excellence in complex restorative dentistry and implantology, establishing him as a respected authority in his field.

Beyond clinical practice, Sharad has served as a lecturer and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) for several leading dental implant companies, sharing his expertise at conferences and training programmes worldwide. His deep understanding of clinical needs, combined with commercial insight, has made him an invaluable bridge between innovation and practical application.

As a recognised expert in Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) and Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) therapies, Sharad’s clinical knowledge has been instrumental in shaping Pplus’s approach to PRP technology development. His hands-on experience with regenerative therapies informs the company’s product design, ensuring solutions are both scientifically robust and clinically practical.

An accomplished medical device innovator in his own right, Sharad is also an inventor of a medical device with a proven track record in bringing new technologies to market. As an angel investor with a portfolio spanning medical technology ventures, he brings strategic investment insight and entrepreneurial experience to Pplus’s growth trajectory.
